THE WINNERS OF 2019 EDITION
The Final of 2019 Ukrainian edition of Verallia Design Awards took place in Kyiv. More than 20 customers visited the event. Design students from different universities all overt the country suggested bottles and jars for Verallia customers based on subject: Premium packaging of the future.
The prize winner is WavyWine, by Daria Gritsenko, design for premium wines with character; bottle was created with adding upmarket elements: extra flint glass, thick bottom and complex shape of the body.
Since 2009, different subsidiaries of the Verallia group have run an annual design competition. This year, the Verallia Design Awards have been organized in 6 countries: Ukraine, Germany, Spain, France, Italy and Portugal. Art or design students and young graduates imagine, from a given theme, innovative glass packaging. The competition entrants are supported by Verallia’s teams to learn more about glass as a material and its industrial demands
